Every client. Every year.

Annual Compliance Review

The mechanism that proves our standards are operational, not stated.

Every RR client is reviewed annually. Engagement terms, KYC, scope, and fee — all refreshed in writing, with you, every 12 months.

Why we built it

No competitor in the UK online accountancy market runs an equivalent.

Most firms have a vague "annual check-in" or nothing at all. Volume firms can't run the ACR at scale because it would expose every broken SLA. Filing-only firms don't have standards to review against in the first place.

RR's filtration model — we don't take every client — is what makes the ACR operationally possible. Fewer clients, all held to the same standard, all reviewed annually.

Without the ACR, the service standards are aspirational. With the ACR, they're operational.

What the ACR covers

Four parts. One 30-minute call. Once a year.

  • 01

    Letter of Engagement

Service scope, terms, and fee reviewed and renewed in writing for the next 12 months. Anything that's changed in your business is reflected.

  • 02

    KYC / AML records

Identity verification, source-of-funds confirmation, and AML records refreshed per HMRC and supervisory requirements.

  • 03

    Service scope

Compared against your business as it stands today. New verticals, restructures, additional entities, or change of ownership are all captured.

  • 04

    Payment arrangement

Direct Debit mandate via Adfin is reviewed. Fee changes (if any) are agreed in writing and effective for the next 12 months.

What happens after

The outcome of every ACR.

  • A renewed Letter of Engagement

Signed in writing for the next 12 months. Service scope and fee are explicit.

  • Refreshed KYC and AML records

We meet our regulatory obligations and you stay compliant by default.

  • A standards review

Any service-standard misses over the past 12 months are documented and addressed. Patterns trigger a service-scope conversation.

  • A Trustpilot review request

Following ACR completion, a Trustpilot review request is sent automatically. We grow the firm on real signal.

When does my ACR happen?

Your ACR is scheduled 12 months from your onboarding date. We notify you 30 days in advance and book a 30-minute call. Most clients complete the review in a single sitting. There is no cost for the ACR — it is part of being on Compliance Vault™.

Want an accountant that reviews you annually — not the other way around?

Book a 20-minute discovery call. We'll confirm fit, walk through Compliance Vault™ and the ACR, and tell you exactly what onboarding looks like.
